What are Fellowships?

Fellowships at Brown represents nationally competitive fellowships that fund domestic and international independent research and travel, teaching, and post-baccalaureate work or study. We currently support 21 different awards, ranging from the Rhodes, Marshall, Fulbright, Schwarzman, and Gaither Junior Fellows Program for seniors to the Truman, Goldwater, Udall, and Beinecke awards for sophomores and juniors, among many others. Many of these opportunities involve an internal campus process by which students are nominated for the respective national competitions.

Want to connect?

We can help you find information about the range of nationally competitive opportunities that can support your interests, goals, and visions for the future. We can help you find and prepare a fellowship. We have plenty of office hours throughout the week to help you find, prepare, and get accepted to a fellowship!
